Robert Morris WBB Hosts Imposing Forward Prospect on Official Visit

Robert Morris women’s basketball head coach Chandler McCabe wants to build her program into an annual contender in the Horizon League and managed to set a great foundation last season which was her first year as a head coach.
McCabe and her staff pulled off a huge turnaround as the Colonials made the jump from the basement of the Horizon League to Indianapolis, which is the site of the Horizon League Tournament that hosts just the top-four regular season teams.
Following the historic first season under McCabe, the program experienced an exodus of players as the Colonials managed to retain just three scholarship players from a season ago. Despite that, McCabe and her staff worked vigorously this offseason to reload a championship level roster.
With next season’s roster set, McCabe and company shifted their attention to recruiting for the future and managed to host Molly Sisson, an imposing Class of 2026 forward prospect, on an official visit over the weekend.
Thank you so much @RMUWBasketball for the amazing official visit!! 💙❤️#notcommited @BayStateJags @NMH_Hoops pic.twitter.com/EdCzxHz7Uu

Sisson, a 6-foot-3 power forward, is coming up on her senior season of high school where she will star for Northfield Mount Hermon. She recently transferred to the New England powerhouse after making a name for herself over the last few seasons at St. Andrew’s School in Rhode Island.
Sisson currently holds offers from schools such as Robert Morris, Providence, Buffalo, Towson, Boston, Penn, and Lafayette among multiple others.
According to her X account, Sisson originally picked up her offer from Robert Morris in October of 2024.
Sisson, with her elite height, also is quick on her feet which allowed her to become one of the best post players in her region over the last couple of years. She has the ability to make an impact in the paint on both sides of the floor as a scorer and a shot blocker..
With steep competition in front of Robert Morris, McCabe getting Sisson on campus for an official visit is a win within itself. The Colonials currently have one player committed in the Class of 2026 and they hope Sisson will eventually join the class herself.
