Robert Morris WBB Offers Pair of High School Teammates

There may be a bit of a pipeline being built from Robert Morris University to West Clermont High School, which is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The pipeline’s foundation was laid back in March when Layla Hale, a standout at West Clermont, made herself the first Robert Morris commit in the Class of 2026.
That was followed up on Tuesday when a set of Hale’s counterparts, Bella Swisshelm and Kennedi Campbell, each received scholarship offers from Colonials’ head coach Chandler McCabe.

While Swisshelm and Campbell will each look to make significant impacts at West Clermont over the next four years, both of them have already made a name for themselves as recruits. Additionally, they each play for the same top AAU team, Legends U.
Swisshelm is a 5-foot-10 lefty-shooting guard/forward and currently holds offers from schools such as Ohio State, Northern Kentucky, Bowling Green and Bellarmine. The Buckeyes were the first program to offer Swisshelm a scholarship.
Campbell is a 5-foot-5 point guard that also has an additional offer to Bellarmine.

Swisshelm and Campbell still have a long way to go before they have to make a decision regarding college but with college interest already brewing, it appears that McCabe and company made the correct decision and threw their name in the hat early in the process.
Regardless, McCabe has shown her ability to recruit. After she was hired, she revamped the roster and brought the Colonials from the basement of the Horizon League to the upper echelon in just one season.
She followed that up by reloading her roster in a big way in the offseason and looks to compete for the program’s first Horizon League title next season.
