Robert Morris Contacts Recent Fordham De-Commit, 6-Foot-10 High School Prospect

In the crazy world that is college athletics, a week after playing in the NCAA Tournament, Robert Morris and head coach Andy Toole are left without any of the starters that played against Alabama.
That is all because of the transfer portal.
The entire starting core of Kam Woods, D.J. Smith, Josh Omojafo, Amarion Dickerson and Alvaro Folgueiras along with rotation/depth pieces like Justice Williams and Antallah Sandlin’El have all found their way into the transfer portal.
While many Colonial fans are upset about it, that is just the way that these things work nowadays.
To be fair, the Horizon League Championship roster was built mainly via the portal. Woods, Smith, Omojafo, and Dickerson all came to Robert Morris last offseason via the portal. As it takes away, it can also give.
An instant rebuild is not out the realm of possibilities for Toole and the Colonials but with six of his seven main rotation players gone after a championship season it does show the current state of college athletics at the mid-major level.
Toole knows that he has to pick up the pieces up quickly as Robert Morris has been connected to multiple players in the transfer portal already this offseason but is expanding their horizons as they are still navigating high school talent.
The Colonials already have two incoming freshman in combo guard/forward Eddie Cooke III and guard Darius Livingston Jr. but are possibly looking to add a third as Toole contacted a 6-foot-10 forward who recently de-committed from an A-10 school.
