The Robert Morris men’s basketball schedule is nearly completed. The Colonials learned their Horizon League schedule a week ago, and now are close to rounding out their non-conference schedule as three more opponents have been revealed through other program’s schedule releases.

The previously confirmed and/or rumored non-conference matchups that Andy Toole’s team will play this upcoming season are at Nevada (November 2nd), at Illinois-Chicago (November 6th), at Arkansas (November 10th), versus D-3 Capital (November 15th), at Toledo (November 19th), versus Duquesne (December 9th), versus Monmouth (December 13th) and versus Vermont (December 20th).

The University of Northern Iowa’s official schedule release confirmed that the reigning Missouri Valley Tournament champions will host Robert Morris on Saturday, November 28 at the McLeod Center in Cedar Falls. It will be the first all-time meeting between the two programs.

Through another official schedule release, it is confirmed that Robert Morris will play host to Ohio on Wednesday, December 23 at the UPMC Events Center. It will be the 13th all-time meeting between the two programs with each winning six of the first 12 games. Ohio has won each of the last two meetings, but Robert Morris owns a 4-0 record versus the Bobcats in Moon Township.

The Scout Jacksonville Classic’s official website revealed that Robert Morris will head to Florida in late November for a multi-team event, but the official matchups for the event have not been released yet. According to New Mexico State’s official schedule, Robert Morris is slated to play against the Aggies at the MTE on Sunday, November 22.

It should be noted that a source close to the Robert Morris men’s basketball program has told Robert Morris Sports Now that New Mexico State may have jumped the gun in regard to releasing their two opponents as the Colonials have received no guarantee that the Aggies are one of their two opponents for the event.

The Scout Jacksonville Classic field includes Illinois-Chicago, Lamar, Miami (OH), New Mexico State, Ohio and Rice.

With Illinois-Chicago and Ohio already being non-conference games on the Colonials’ schedule outside of the MTE, that leaves the group of New Mexico State, Lamar, Miami (OH) and Rice as the potential opponents for Robert Morris down in Jacksonville.
