Less than a week after nearly upsetting Alabama in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, Robert Morris is in a tough spot as it has now lost four of the five starting players from the Horizon League Championship team after star guard Kam Woods entered the transfer portal on Thursday, he told our partners at The Portal Report.

Prior to today, the Colonials already lost a couple of depth pieces as well as the Horizon League Player of the Year Alvaro Folgueiras and the Defensive Player of the Year Amarion Dickerson to the portal.

Then, earlier in the day starting guard Josh Omojafo entered the portal. Woods departure leaves just D.J. Smith as the only starter from this season still on the Colonials roster.

Woods excelled in his lone season at Robert Morris as he was a second-team All-Horizon selection this past year. He averaged 14.9 points and 5.2 assists for the Colonials and was a key competent in their Horizon League Championship run.
