Robert Morris Contacts Athletic Forward and Former HL Guard in Transfer Portal

With the dust finally settling after the horrid week for Robert Morris and head coach Andy Toole, the direction that the program is headed is becoming more clear.

Over the last week, the Colonials saw all five starters for their Horizon League Championship team enter the transfer portal. In total, seven players from the 2024-25 roster have entered the portal since it opened on Monday including Horizon League Player of the Year Alvaro Folgueiras and Defensive Player of the Year Amarion Dickerson.

Toole is a smart coach who has had consecutive years of success before when the program was in the Northeast Conference. Now with a first-hand experience of what a winning roster should look like in the Horizon League, the players that he has reached out to fit a certain mold.

It will be hard to step in and immediately fill the shoes that this year’s NCAA Tournament squad left but Toole is certainly targeting players with similar skill sets as those guys. Earlier in the week, the Colonials contacted a high school forward that mirrors Folgueiras’ skill set and now they are connected to two more potential substitutions.
