The Robert Morris women’s basketball program officially finalized the 2026-27 schedule on Thursday after the Horizon League announced the non-conference portion of the Colonials’ schedule. The Colonials will play a full 31-game schedule consisting of 20 Horizon League contests and 11 non-conference matchups.

Robert Morris will get into the swing of it all when it hosts St. Bonaventure for an exhibition match on October 28th before opening the season and non-conference schedule at home against Illinois-Chicago on November 5th.

The non-conference portion of the schedule is highlighted by rivalry games against programs like Duquesne on November 16th and Mercyhurst on December 20th. It also features two high-major opponents as the Colonials will play in West Virginia on December 15th.

The other power-conference opponent will be Clemson, who the Colonials will play for the first time in program history on November 26th as part of the Daytona Beach Classic. Stetson is the other team that Robert Morris will face off against in Daytona.

The rest of the non-conference schedule consists of unique tests against Delaware State (November 8th), Eastern Michigan (November 11th), Akron (November 20th) and Ball State (November 29th).

Robert Morris will open Horizon League play up at home against back-to-back-to-back reigning champion Green Bay on December 3rd, followed by a matchup against Milwaukee on December 5th.

After a three week gap in Horizon League play, the Colonials will return to league play on New Year’s Eve at Detroit Mercy. They will then return home for the start of the new year with games against league-newcomer Northern Illinois on January 2nd and IU Indy on January 7th.

Robert Morris will then open up a short road trip to Wright State on January 10th, followed by a game against Northern Kentucky on January 12th. The game at Wright State will be crucial as it is the only matchup between the two programs this season.

Following the two-game road trip, the Colonials return to the UPMC Events Center for three-consecutive home games. They will welcome in Purdue Fort-Wayne on January 16th, Detroit Mercy on January 21st and Oakland on January 23rd.

Like the Wright State game, the contest against Oakland will be crucial as it is the only scheduled matchup between the two schools this season.

The final ten games of the season, all of which fall in the month of February, is when things get real for Robert Morris as seven of them are on the road. The final three home games for the Colonials are against Cleveland State on February 3rd, Northern Kentucky on February 17th and Youngstown State on February 27th.

The Colonials will complete their annual Wisconsin trip to close January out with games at Green Bay on the 28th and at Milwaukee on the 31st. They will then play three-straight road games against Youngstown State on February 6th, IU Indy on February 10th and Northern Illinois on February 13th.

The final two road games of the season come against Purdue Fort-Wayne on February 20th and Cleveland State on February 25th.
