Through the team’s first two games of the season, Malcolm is averaging 23.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
The senior guard is in her first season as a member of the Robert Morris women’s basketball program after spending the last three years down the road at the University of Pittsburgh.
Malcolm’s tenure as a member of the Panthers was unique as she was a depth player as a freshman before making 31 starts as a sophomore. Following a coaching change prior to her junior season, Malcolm started just three games despite appearing in 21.
She left the program midway through the season and entered the transfer portal.
While Malcolm is starting to gain recognition within the Horizon League, she is already household name around the city due to her stellar high school career at Chartiers Valley.
Malcolm went 110-7 in her high school career which included a Pennsylvania state record 64-game winning streak. She helped lead her team to three WPIAL titles and one PIAA state championship during that span.
Her talented level of play attracted national attention as she was rated as a four-star prospect and was an ESPN top-100 recruit.
Malcolm and the rest of the Robert Morris women’s basketball team are back in action on Thursday when they likely take the program’s final trip to Loretto, Pa. for one more showdown with St. Francis (PA) before it moves to Division-III.
