Robert Morris is slowly, but surely, filling out its men’s basketball roster after losing a majority of its Horizon League Championship roster either due to the graduation or the transfer portal.

Over the last few weeks, head coach Andy Toole and his staff have navigated that transfer portal in hopes of reloading the roster for another NCAA Tournament run.

Since the portal opened, Toole has landed commitments from what appears to be six portal players but only four are announced as of this point. Those players include UL Monroe transfer Ta’Zir Smith, Southern Connecticut State transfer Albert Vargas, North Carolina A&T transfer Nikos Chitikoudis and Clarion transfer Cam Kearney.

Robert Morris Sports Now managed to speak with Kearney about his three seasons at Clarion, what made Robert Morris his choice and what type of player the Colonials are getting next season.
