It would appear as if the championship window for Robert Morris closed just as fast as it opened, one offseason. That is unless head coach Andy Toole can work some magic in the transfer portal for the second consecutive offseason.

After taking a brand new roster to the NCAA Tournament this past season, Toole saw his entire starting-five and four depth players enter the transfer portal since the Colonials’ opening-round loss to Alabama.

Now, he must construct another new roster and hope that it all pieces together as smoothly as it did this past season. Unfortunately, that is just life as a mid-major head coach in today’s NIL-controlled world of college athletics.

New reports linked Robert Morris to a guard who is gaining national attention and has received interest from power-four programs.
