Robert Morris WBB Signs Sharpshooting A-10 Guard

They do say connections are everything in business and one long-lasting connection likely helped Robert Morris head coach Chandler McCabe land her second signee of this transfer portal cycle.

McCabe spent nine seasons on George Mason’s head coach Vanessa Blair-Lewis’ staff prior to her becoming the Colonials’ head coach, two at George Mason and another seven at Bethune-Cookman.

That connection likely gave McCabe an advantage when it came to recruiting one of George Mason’s transfers this offseason as guard Page Greenburg became the second official signee of McCabe’s transfer portal recruiting class this offseason.

Greenburg comes to Robert Morris with one season of eligibility remaining as she spent her first season of college basketball at Brown before transferring to George Mason where she has spent the last three seasons. While at Mason, Greenburg played sparingly off of the bench in her first season before she became a true rotational piece for the Patriots over the final two.

Greenburg appeared in 52 games over the last two years and averaged over 9.5 minutes per game in each season. She proved herself to be a reliable three-point shooter for the Patriots in the 2024-25 season when she made 50% of her three-point attempts.

After losing much of its three-point shooting from a season ago with the graduations of Aislin Malcolm, Noa Givon and Jada Lee, Greenburg is certainly in a position to come in and play a sizable role as a scorer in her final season of college basketball.

With the additions of Greenburg and Meghan Murray, along with incoming freshman guards Teigh Yeast and Layla Hale, McCabe managed to replace the trio of Malcolm, Givon and Lee with four high-upside guards despite most of them being relatively unproven at the collegiate level.

While there will certainly be less turnover this offseason in regard to the roster, McCabe and her staff will continue to work and add players via the transfer portal to round out the 2026-27 season.
