Robert Morris Makes Initial Contact With Albany Transfer

Following the departure of nearly his entire roster from their trip to the 2025 NCAA Tournament, head coach Andy Toole has been busy reloading the Robert Morris roster for the 2025-26 season.

That process already gotten underway after the program received commitments from Albert Vargas, Cam Kearney and Ta’Zir Smith. If you go by the tweets from Toole over the last week, it appeared as though Robert Morris had another player commit to them but to this point, that player hasn’t made it public.

With the three transfers, two incoming freshman and one returnee, the Colonials are now up to six scholarship players but the road is still a long one for Toole and his staff as they had 12 scholarship players on the roster this past season meaning they still need to add likely six more players.

Knowing that, the staff at Robert Morris is still navigating the transfer portal and recent reports linked the program to a transfer portal player from Albany.
