WATCH: Robert Morris HC Andy Toole Recaps Offseason and Previews 2025-26 Season

MOON TWP, Pa. — If walking through the UPMC Events Center on a rainy Thursday afternoon in late October does not make you feel like college basketball is back, then listening to Robert Morris head coach Andy Toole and some his players talk about the upcoming season just might.

Following a hectic offseason in which Toole lost all but one scholarship player to either graduation or the transfer portal, the Colonials are finally in the final preparation stage of the offseason as they will head to Iowa City in just a few days to tip their season off against Alvaro Folgeurias and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Toole spoke to the media about the hectic offseason, what playing against Folgueiras in this year’s season opener means, the harsh reality of the portal with the Kam Woods situation and about what his current team looks like on Thursday.

Returning winger Ryan Prather Jr. and transfer forward DeSean Goode also spoke to the media.

Prather broke down his decision to return to Moon Township for another season, his newfound leadership role on this year’s team and his experience playing with the USA 3×3 team in Chile earlier this offseason.

Goode talked about his experience with the Horizon League after being named to the league’s All-Freshman team last year while at IU Indy, the coaches pitch and his decision to transfer to Robert Morris and about what his role looks like now as he is now apart of the Colonials.
