MOON TWP, Pa. — Robert Morris saw three of its players land spots on the All-Horizon League teams that were announced on Monday.

The Colonials entered the year with lofty expectations under second-year head coach Chandler McCabe after she guided the program to Indianapolis for the league semifinals a season ago.

While her team finished below their second-place preseason ranking, the Colonials still had a second-consecutive season in which they finished at or above .500 in league play.

In turn, three Robert Morris starters found their way onto one of the All-Horizon League teams for their efforts.

Both Aislin Malcolm and Myriam Traore earned spots on the All-League Third Team while Eva Levingston was one of five players selected to the All-League Defensive Team.

Malcolm, a former four-star prospect and Pitt transfer, had a hot start to the season and was the Colonials top scorer this season.

The senior averaged 12.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game as she set career highs in total points scored (350), total rebounds (106) and field goals made (115).

Traore, a sophomore this season, transferred to Robert Morris after a year at Sienna, and was the Colonials’ second-leading scorer this season.

A native of France, Traore, was one of few non-Pittsburgh born players to join the program in the offseason.

She averaged 11.7 points at a 46% rate and 5.0 rebounds per game in her first year under McCabe, both of which were improvements from her freshman season at Sienna.

Lastly, Eva Levingston was a transfer portal addition from Cal St. Fullerton earned All-League Defensive Team honors after being second on the team in steals per game at 0.9 and tied for first on the team in blocked shots per game at 0.5.

Levingston was also a force on offense and the boards as she averaged 9.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in her first season as a Colonial.

Robert Morris’ journey is not over as the Colonials are hitting the road this week to take on Purdue Fort-Wayne in the opening round of the Horizon League Tournament.

The Colonials split the regular season series with the Mastodons and will need to win again in order to make the trip back to Indianapolis.
