We have reached the time in the college basketball offseason where programs have started to release their non-conference schedules.

While it takes longer for smaller programs such as Robert Morris to finalize a complete non-conference slate, due to a handful of moving parts that take place behind the scenes, one of the Colonials’ future opponents have announced that they will be hosting Robert Morris this coming season.

Robert Morris will travel to take on St. Bonaventure on Thursday, November 20, 2025, according to the Bonnies’ X account.

The Colonials have met the Bonnies on the hardwood three times prior with St. Bonaventure holding a 3-0 all-time record against Robert Morris. The last time that the Colonials faced off against the Bonnies was during the 2008-09 season.

The Colonials are not the only Horizon league opponent on the Bonnies’ schedule next season as the game before their meeting with Robert Morris is scheduled against Youngstown State.

St. Bonaventure went 22-12 last season with a 9-9 record inside of A-10 play. Following an up-and-down regular season, the Bonnies clinched a first-round bye in the A-10 Championships and took down Duquesne in the second-round before falling to VCU in the following game.

The two other known non-conference opponents on the Colonials’ schedule is the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Toledo Rockets. The Colonials will head to Iowa City to tipoff their season but it comes with a twist as they will play against last season’s Horizon League Player of the Year and former Colonial, Alvaro Folgueiras.

Last season, Folgueiras earned the Player of the Year award after averaging 13.9 points, 9.1 rebounds and shooting 41% from 3-point range. Those numbers were a huge jump from his freshman season at Robert Morris when he averaged 5.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and shot 28% from 3-point range.

Robert Morris played a total of 11 non-conference games a season ago which means there are still eight more games, outside of the Horizon League schedule, that will be released at some point during the offseason.
