Robert Morris G/F Ryan Prather Jr. made his Team USA debut on Monday in the 3×3 Men’s Nations League that is taking place in Punta Arenas, Chile.

Prather combined for 13 points across two games and helped guide Team USA to a win in the Stop 1 Finals over Canada.

Prather and his teammates went back to work on Tuesday for Stop 2 and duked it out against Canada and the Cayman Islands in the pool play bracket.

Team USA faced Canada in the day’s first game, which was a rematch of Monday’s Stop 1 Final, and came out with fresh legs as they easily downed the team up north by the score of 22-13. Prather led the charge with a team-high 12 points against Canada.

Shortly after, the team faced off against the Cayman Islands with the chance of advancing to the Stop 2 Finals and a chance of winning the Stop Final on back-to-back nights. Once again, Team USA handily defeated their opponent by the score of 21-13.

With the two victories, Team USA found themselves up against the host nation, Chile, in the Stop 2 Final.

After battling Chile in a highly-contested game, Team USA found themselves up 20-19 and in need of just one more point which Prather delivered when he backed his defender down to the post before nailing a second-chance layup.

Prather finished with a team-high 8 points in the Stop 2 Final.

The FIBA 3×3 Nations League is a qualification route to the 2025 FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup with conference winners qualifying for the event which is set for September, 17-21 in Xiong An, China.

Prather and Team USA will be back at it on Wednesday for Stop 3 pool play and a chance of winning three-straight Stops.
