Unfortunately, it’s become the right of spring for the Robert Morris men’s basketball program- players entering the transfer portal.

For the 5th time this off-season, a RMU player has made the decision to enter his name into the transfer portal.

6’11” sophomore forward Josh Hill will be leaving Robert Morris, a year after transferring into the program from Arkansas State.

In 22 games this season, Hill averaged 7.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in 17 minutes per game. Hill reached double-digits in 5 games, with his season-high (19 points and 10 rebounds) coming against Saint Bonaventure.

Last season with Arkansas State, Hill averaged 3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 6.6 minutes per game.

The native of Laurel, Maryland was a four-star recruit coming out of Wheeler High School in Georgia in the Class of 2024. He was ranked the third-best player in Georgia and a Top 100 prospect, according to On3Sports.

Hill joins Ryan Prather, DeSean Goode, Albert Vargas and Nikolaos Chitkoudis as players on the 2025-26 roster that have left the program.
