After dominating the first three days of the Nations League and winning each of the first three Stop Finals, Team USA hiccuped as they placed second in the next two stops.
On Sunday, Prather made sure to end the week on a high note as they made one final push to qualify for the World Cup.
Prather and his teammates started Sunday’s action with a 21-10 win over the Cayman Islands. Prather led the way for Team USA in the decisive victory as he knocked down a trio of two-pointers and finished the showdown with a game-high 9 points.
In the Stop 6 Final, Team USA battled Argentina in a highly-contested matchup before pulling away at the end to secure the win. Prather scored four buckets in the final and finished as the team’s second leading scorer.
With the results, Prather will re-join his Team USA teammates in China for the FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup, which will be completed just before the start of the college basketball season.
