MOON TWP, Pa. — Robert Morris was once again well represented in the annual Horizon League men’s basketball awards after another 20-plus win season.

Last year, the Colonials swept the league’s major awards with head coach Andy Toole winning Coach of the Year, Alvaro Folgueiras earning Player of the Year and Amarion Dickerson claiming the league’s Defensive Player of the Year award.

After Toole lost Folgueiras and Dickerson to the transfer portal, he was forced to rebuild the roster from the ground up as Ryan Prather Jr. ended up being the only scholarship player to return to Moon Township for another season.

Despite that, Toole managed to construct another Horizon Legaue title contending roster with Prather, some impactful transfers and a trio of intruiging freshman.

One of the players that Toole lured to Robert Morris was sophomore forward DeSean Goode, a transfer from IU Indy.

In 31 games this season, Goode averaged 15.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per game while shooting 63% from the field and 59% from three-point range, thus earning him the league’s Player of the Year award and a spot on the All-League First Team.

It is the first time since the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons that Robert Morris had players win back-to-back conference Player of the Year Awards.

The awards and accolades did not stop there for the Colonials as Ryan Prather Jr. earned a spot on the All-League Second Team after leading the team in scoring this season at 15.6 points per game as he shot 44% from the field and made 79 threes at a 37% rate.

Prather also finished second on the team with 3.7 assists per contest while also averaging a respectable 3.7 rebounds per game.

While Goode and Prather were the only two players to land on the any of the three All-League teams, two more players were recognized for their efforts this season.

Nikolaos Chitikoudis, a transfer from NC A&T, was a force down low for Robert Morris this season and was rewarded with All-Defensive Team honors for it.

The Greece native was the third of three Colonials to average double figures this season as he posted 11.5 points per game while also hauling in 7.9 rebounds per game.

The last Robert Morris representative to be honored following the 2025-26 regular season was freshman guard Darius Livingston Jr., who was named to the league’s All-Freshman team.

Livingston held an immediate role in the Colonials rotation as a true freshman but was forced into a starting role over the last five games of the season after starting point guard Albert Vargas went down with an injury.

In turn, Livingston played his best basketball of the season once the reigns were handed over to him as evident by his career-high 24-point game against Wright State two weeks ago when he sunk 6-of-7 three-point attempts.

In his 25 game appearances, Livingston averaged 9.6 points and 3.0 assists per game. He shot a respectable 41% from the field and 39% from three.

Despite all of the awards and recognition, the Robert Morris season is not over yet as the Colonials are gearing up to play host to Youngstown State on Wednesday in the opening round of the Horizon League Tournament.
