Robert Morris head coach Chandler McCabe has made it very clear that she wants to build the women’s basketball program into an annual contender in the Horizon League.

She has also made it evident that she believes that she can do so by retaining the area’s local top talent.

After a successful first year on the job, McCabe saw a majority of her roster either graduate or hit the transfer portal but she managed to reload the roster with a handful of talented transfers and incoming freshman, most of which have ties to the Pittsburgh area.

With her roster locked in for next season, McCabe and her staff shifted their recruiting efforts to building connections with some of the area’s top high school talent.

On Tuesday, McCabe brought in an intriguing local Class of 2028 recruit for an unofficial visit.
