Robert Morris Women’s Basketball Rounds Out Non-Conference Schedule

Robert Morris head coach Chandler McCabe wants to build the women’s basketball program into an annual contender within the Horizon League.

Last season, in just her first year as a head coach, McCabe and her program took a huge first step in accomplishing that goal as they surprised many people and made the program’s first ever trip to Indianapolis for the Horizon League Championships.

A huge reason for the successful season was that McCabe and her team became battle-tested early in the season due to their tough non-conference schedule. With practically a brand new roster, McCabe took the same approach when building the non-conference slate for this upcoming season.

Obviously, the Colonials will duel it out with their Horizon League rivals down the stretch part of the season but the alleged non-conference slate brings much to be excited about as it features games against many in-state opponents and a few against interesting out-of-state programs.

Robert Morris Sports Now managed to speak with a source that revealed the Colonials’ entire non-conference slate for next season.
