Robert Morris softball has been on a tear lately and it did not slow down in Saturday’s doubleheader against IU Indy. The Colonials beat the Jaguars by a combined score of 29-4 in the two games with each going just five innings a piece due to the mercy rule.

The Colonials were riding an eight-game winning streak into the three-game series against the Jaguars but saw it end in an extra-innings loss in the series opener. That loss fueled the Colonials as they came out on Saturday and brought it to the Jaguars.

The Colonials won the first game by the score of 14-3 and then the second one by the score of 15-1.
