Robert Morris Officially Signs Three Players to 2024-25 Roster

Kam Woods joined the Robert Morris basketball program this offseason, and should have the chance to thrive alongside Justice Williams.

Robert Morris basketball has officially signed three more players to this year’s team.

Maurio Hanson, Amarion Dickerson, Kam Woods signed with the program, as announced on social media by RMU Men’s Basketball this week.

Hanson is a forward prospect who will join the team as a freshman this season. He played for J.L. Chambers High School in North Carolina, where he put up a strong senior season. Hanson scored 15.5 points and grabbed 8.5 rebounds per game last year as a senior. He recorded 16 double-doubles and two triple-doubles on the way to a second-team all-district nod. He is listed at 6-foot-7, 200 pounds on RMU’s official roster.

Dickerson — a 6-foot-7 guard/forward — spent last season in the JUCO ranks with Mineral Area College where he put together 12.6 points a night on 47.3 percent from the field and 36.5 percent beyond the arc. He also grabbed 6.4 rebounds and blocked 2.4 shots per game. He is listed at 185 pounds on the roster.

Woods, a 6-foot-2 guard, transferred from NC State, where he spent one season. A former All-CAA team member, Woods is on to his fourth school in four years with the Colonials, having also played for Troy and North Carolina A&T. He had his best season two years ago for NC A&T, scoring more than 17 points per game for the Aggies on 39% from the field and 34% from three-point range.

That season, he averaged more than three assists and three rebounds per game as well. This past year in the ACC with the Wolfpack, he played 13 games, averaging just over seven minutes per game for a Final Four team under Kevin Keatts.
