Date, Time Revealed for Robert Morris’ Game Against Ivy League Opponent

An Ivy League school released its schedule over the weekend, and Robert Morris was included.
The Colonials will travel out to Ithaca, New York to take on Cornell this upcoming season. The game will take place on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. at Newman Arena at Bartels Hall.
The two teams last played each other last season, this past time at RMU. Cornell beat the Colonials behind monstrous performances from Chris Manon and Isaiah Gray, who have since transferred out as graduate transfers. Manon is headed to Nashville to play for Vanderbilt, while Gray joined the Akron Zips, last year’s MAC champs.
RMU has brought in several transfers and freshmen this offseason to account for its graduating seniors and transfers out.
Veterans Ismael Plet and Kam Woods join the Colonials, coming from Arkansas Pine-Bluff and NC State, respectively.
Plet is a 6-foot-8 forward who averaged 7.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game last season. Woods, a 6-foot-2 guard, transferred from the Wolfpack, where he spent one season. A former All-CAA team member, Woods is on to his fourth school in four years with the Colonials, having also played for Troy and North Carolina A&T. He had his best season two years ago for NC A&T, scoring more than 17 points per game for the Aggies on 39% from the field and 34% from three-point range.
The Colonials bring back Justice Williams and Chris Ford, among others. Head coach Andy Toole has a new-look staff working with him this year. He has retained one staff member, Matthew Sweet, and has hired two new assistants: George Aramide and Kim Lewis.
