Robert Morris pulled off another round of Horizon-on-Horizon crime. After signing former IU Indy forward and Horizon League All-Freshman honoree DeSean Goode earlier this offseason, the Colonials just “stole” another piece of last year’s Jaguars team.

On Monday, Robert Morris officially announced the signing Keith Oddo as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team.

The signing was made possible after the IU Indy men’s basketball program underwent turmoil earlier in the offseason which led to a mass exodus of its roster and coaching staff.

Oddo joins the Colonials after spending the last two season as an assistant coach under former IU Indy head coach Paul Corsaro.

In his two seasons as part of the Jaguars’ staff, Oddo worked closely with two of the Horizon League’s top scorers, Paul Zilinskas and Jarvis Walker. Oddo also was a key factor in the recruitment and development of transfer forward DeSean Goode.

Prior to his time at IU Indy, Oddo spent two seasons at Bridgewater College as the lead assistant coach and one at Akron as a graduate assistant. He also added NBA coaching experience to his resume in 2021 when he was apart of the Brooklyn Nets’ Summer League coaching staff.

Oddo played five seasons of Division-I college basketball before he entered the coaching scene. He started his career at the University of Richmond where he played four for seasons before he transferred to the University of Louisville as a graduate transfer.

While head coach Andy Toole managed to retain a majority of his assistant coaches from a season ago, he added a young yet talented coach with the addition of Oddo. With his signing officially announced, the Colonials’ 2025-26 basketball team is likely completed.
