Robert Morris Makes Initial Contact With NAIA Transfer Forward

The Robert Morris men’s basketball program added two more players to its roster over the weekend but that did not stop the Colonials’ staff from reaching out to more prospects.

With the two newest additions, the current scholarship count sits at 11 which is one less than what head coach Andy Toole had at his disposal a season ago, which means that there is still likely one, if not two, more scholarships to go out as he looks to round out the roster in the coming weeks.

Looking at the roster, one of the biggest holes remaining is another forward that could play valuable minutes this coming season. While the Colonials recently added a developmental prospect to the position group, they likely want to add another one that already has prior college experience.

The latest rumored connection could potentially fill that role as the staff at Robert Morris made initial contact with a transfer forward from an NAIA institution on Sunday.
