Report: Robert Morris’ Alvaro Folgueiras to Visit Three Big-Name Schools

Robert Morris forward Alvaro Folgueiras will take three visits, starting on Friday, according to a report.
According to The Field of 68 national reporter Jeff Goodman, Folgueiras will visit Iowa, Providence, and Villanova.
Robert Morris transfer big man Alvaro Folgueiras is visiting Iowa, Providence and Villanova starting today, source told @thefieldof68.
Folgueiras averaged 14.1 points, 9.1 boards, 3.2 assists and 1.2 blocks this past season.

This past season, the 6’9″ sophomore from Spain was named the Horizon League Player of the Year after averaging 13.9 points, 9 rebounds and shooting 41% from 3-point range. Those numbers were a huge jump from his freshman season at RMU when he averaged 5.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and shot 28% from 3-point range.
In another report, Kentucky Sports Radio reporter Jacob Polacheck also reported that Kentucky is out of the mix in Folgueiras’ recruitment. Early reports stated that Kentucky was interested in Folgueiras.
