Four New Schools Involved With Former Robert Morris Guard D.J. Smith

While former Robert Morris stars such as Amarion Dickerson (USC) and Alvaro Folgueiras (Iowa) seem content with their new basketball homes, one former Colonials’ starter has changed his mind and has started the portal process all over again.

D.J. Smith was one of nine Robert Morris scholarship players to enter the transfer portal following the Colonials’ season-ending loss to Alabama in the NCAA Tournament.

Initially, Smith committed to the Mercer Bears of the Southern Conference back in late April but went back on that decision and re-entered the portal last week.

New reports from over the weekend linked Smith to four new programs that seem interested in making him a late-cycle addition to their recruiting class.
