Robert Morris came back after a slow start, cutting Alabama’s lead down to just four points. At the half, Alabama leads 40-36. In the first half, Amarion Dickerson led the Colonials with 13 points and four rebounds. RMU shot 16 for 39 from the field and just 4 for 14 from three-point range, but overcame early shooting struggles to come back into the game. The Colonials defense held its own against Alabama, forcing the Crimson Tide to turn the ball over five times. However, Alabama shot the lights out, making 61% of its field-goal attempts.

Cliff Omoruyi went 7 for 7 in the half with 15 first-half points. He added on to his total with an alley-oop slam dunk in the first 45 seconds of the second half, too.
If Robert Morris pulls off the opening-round upset, they will stay in Cleveland to play the winner of Vanderbilt and Saint Mary’s on Sunday afternoon.
