Robert Morris Receives Commitment From Former SEC Talent

The Robert Morris men’s basketball roster is starting to really look like a true team. After losing nearly his entire Horizon League Championship roster either to graduation or the transfer portal, head coach Andy Toole turned to the portal for help.
Since the opening-round loss to Alabama in the NCAA Tournament, Robert Morris watched star players such as Kam Woods, Amarion Dickerson and Alvaro Folgueiras all enter the portal. In total, only one scholarship player from last year’s team opted to stay for another season.
While that was a tough chip to swallow for many Colonial fans, the past few weeks have brought some exciting news regarding the new batch of players.
Toole landed commitment from a handful of talented transfers to this point of the offseason which includes a massive 6-foot-11, former four-star recruit that chose the Colonials earlier today.
While that news was exciting enough for one day, the Colonials’ staff was not done as they just added another former high-pedigree player through the portal. Robert Morris Sports Now confirmed the commitment of a former University of Missouri player who played three seasons of basketball in the SEC.
