Last season did not go as according to plan for the Robert Morris football program and head coach Bernard Clark Jr. after receiving first-place votes in the Northeast Conference’s preseason poll.

The shortcomings were the result of many things but the main issue that hindered the Colonials a season ago was injuries, especially at the quarterback position. Clark was forced to play four different quarterbacks throughout the season including two freshman.

Regardless, the failed season is now behind Clark and the program as they gear up to make some noise in the NEC in 2026.

Like any offseason, the start of that process is figuring out what positions are in need of improvement from a personnel standpoint and replacing or reinforcing them via the transfer portal and high school recruiting.

While the recruiting aspect started long before the end of the season, this past week signaled the end of the process as Clark and Robert Morris officially welcomed in 34 new players on National Signing Day.

The 2026 Class features 22 transfers from varying levels of college football and 12 freshman. Check out the full list of incoming players below.
